New publication on Tasectan Duo

Researchers from the A. Gemelli Foundation, School of Medicine, Rome, Italy have published an extensive review on the role of Gelatin tannate and tyndallized probiotics (Tasectan Duo) in the treatment of diarrhea.

The article states that “Gelatin tannate and tyndallized probiotics can be used to re-establish the physiological functions of the gut barrier, as well as for preventing dysbiosis”; they are “highly effective in the treatment of acute gastroenteritis and may be especially indicated in the management of moderate and prolonged diarrhea” .

The article concludes that “Gelatin tannate and tyndallized probiotics could be useful in preventing and treating antibiotic-associated diarrhea”

Tasectan Duo is already marketed in Italy and is available for immediate commercialization in Europe, either alone or as a line extension to Tasectan.
